Performance Evaluation of Bundle Adjustment with Population Based Optimization Algorithms Applied to Panoramic Image Stitching

چکیده

The image stitching process is based on the alignment and composition of multiple images that represent parts a 3D scene. automatic construction panoramas from digital technique great importance, finding applications in different areas such as remote sensing inspection maintenance many work environments. In traditional stitching, generally performed by Levenberg–Marquardt numerical-based method. Although these approaches only present minor flaws final reconstruction, result not appropriate for industrial grade applications. To improve quality, this uses RGBD robot capable precise positing. optimize adjustment, paper proposes use bio-inspired algorithms Bat Algorithm, Grey Wolf Optimizer, Arithmetic Optimization Salp Swarm Algorithm Particle order verify efficiency competitiveness metaheuristics against classical obtained results showed metaheuristcs have found better solutions than approach.
